Quern
The Quern is a device for grinding items. It can crush raw ores for processing, as well as make powders, dyes, and some other items. It is assembled from a Base and Handstone.
The base of the quern can be crafted with three smooth stone and three of any other Stone blocks.
Stone blocks can be acquired via extraction, and smooth blocks with the chisel.
The quern needs a Handstone to operate.
Point at the top of the quern block and Right Click to place the handstone.
Use Right Click on the top of the handstone to add items.
Use Right Click the handle to spin the handstone.
The output should appear on the base of the quern. Right Click anywhere on the base to retrieve it.

Ores can be crushed to obtain more metal.

The quern is used to make various Powders from dust, like Sulfur. Gems can also be ground into powder.

Dye can be obtained from various flowers.
