There are many, many, many different types of plants in TerraFirmaCraft.
Different plants appear in different Climates, and their appearance may change over the current season - going through cycles of flowering and laying dormant, or changing color as the local temperature changes. Colorful flowers can typically be crushed in a Quern for Dye.
Standard plants are like small flowers. They grow on grass, dirt, and farmland.
Dry plants are like standard plants, but they can grow on sand. These generally only spawn in areas with low rainfall.
Cacti can grow two blocks high, and they will damage you!
Creeping plants take the shape of the surrounding block faces. They mostly spawn in blobs on the ground
Epiphytes only live on the sides of logs.
Short grass blocks grow taller with age. They also are able to grow on peat and mud.
Tall grass blocks are just tall enough to block your field of view.
Vine blocks spread around the world on their own, if it's warm enough.
Weeping vines grow downward from an anchoring block.
Twisting vines twist upward from the Earth. They can come in a solid variant.
Water plants are restricted to either spawn in fresh or salty water. Otherwise, they grow and act much like the plants you see on the surface. Some water plants can be cooked for food.
Standard water plants can be broken with a Knife to get Seaweed.
Water grasses are grasses that grow under the water.
Tall water plants can grow with just the bottom block in water. Water Taro and Cattail can be broken with a Knife for Roots.
